What SplitSnap does
SplitSnap helps people read receipts, allocate shared expenses, and record settlement. You must review extracted information before relying on it. OCR and optional AI extraction may misread or omit information. The organizer remains responsible for the bill and the amounts requested.
Payments
SplitSnap does not hold, transfer, or process bill payments. A paid marker is an organizer’s manual record, not independent verification of a transaction. Resolve payment disagreements directly with the people involved.
Responsible use
Only upload information you are authorized to use. Do not submit passwords, full payment-card numbers, abusive content, or unlawful material. Do not access other users’ bills without permission, evade rate limits, or interfere with the service. Accounts may be suspended for abuse; use the support page to request review.
Accounts and access
Guest access relies on a browser cookie or device token. Clearing it can remove your access, so create an account if you need recoverable history. Invitation links can be forwarded; share them carefully. You can request account deletion in the app or at Account settings.
Pro subscriptions
Pro is planned at US $3.99 per month, with the localized store price shown before purchase. Purchases are not enabled until store setup is complete. When available, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled in Apple or Google account settings. Removing the app or deleting an account does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests follow the relevant store’s process. Core accurate calculations remain free when Pro expires.
Beta availability
This release is a beta and may be interrupted or changed. Keep your own copies of information you need. Features requiring third-party services may be unavailable until configured.
Launch review
The final operator identity, governing law, consumer-rights provisions, age requirements and liability terms require review before public paid launch. Nothing in this draft is intended to remove rights that applicable law does not allow a service to exclude.
